Our goal is to sponsor 15 pastors from small local churches near Puerto Plata to attend the John Piper's conference, being hosted by International Baptist Church in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic June 3-5, 2010.

For many of these pastors, this will be the only training event of this type they have ever experienced. Our goal is obtain a $200.00 sponsor for each of the 15 pastors who have been selected to attend this event. Your $200.00 gift will provide your pastor with:
Transportation from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo
Food and lodging for 3 days and nights during the conference
A French MacArthur Study Bible
We will connect you with your pastor via email and through the blessing of Google Translator, we hope that this will be the beginning of a relationship between a Haitian pastor and his brother or sister in North America. In addition to your sponsorship, we hope you will pray for your pastor, his family and his church.
When you submit your $200.00 donation, we will send you an email with information about your pastor and his church.
As of today, we have 12 pastors who still need sponsors.
100% of all funds will be used to further the mission of The Project in the ministry to Haitian pastors in the Dominican Republic. We hope to soon be affiliated with a mission agency and/or local church that will accept and disburse money on behalf of The Project, and issue tax receipts to our donors. In the meantime, we ask for your patience and acknowledge that your sacrificial giving will not be considered tax deductible. However, our Lord knows of both the gift and the giver...we trust Him and claim His promise:
