Gods desire is our purpose...there are others...time to wake up...offer your bodies...hold the rope.
1. One year missionary/pastor training school to operate in Dominican Republic and a secondary school at the Haitian border.
2. Training primarily Haitian men who are called of God to return to heir homeland of Haiti, or to reach out to the Haitian community in the D R as missionaries and Church planters.
3. Training, equipping and encouraging the existing Haitian Pastors and their Church families.
4. Students of the mission school will live in community at the school dorm located in a Haitian "Batey". Students practical training will include ministry in the local Haitian communities.
5. With Gods leading, each missionary student will be sponsored/supported by a North American (or any willing) Church, or individuals. Full sponsorship will be in the range of only $200/month to fully train, house and feed each student. This sponsorship will continue after graduation and will be reduced each year as the local Church begins to take responsibility for their new Pastor/missionary. The original supporting Church will be charged with ongoing contact, encouragement and support as needed, including short term mission trips to stand with their missionary.
6. After graduation from the school in Dominican Republic, students will spend the next year at the secondary school at the border in Haiti to pass on what they have learned, and to mentor another Haitian man who also feels called to Go.
7. The completion of the second year of training and mentoring will see each new missionary/Pastor being sent out as "poor men in a poor country to bring good news". They will not live beyond or above the lifestyle of their Church family in their new mission field.
8. The best teachers/trainers available will be sought out to bring sound doctrinal training to the students. Volunteer instructors will be sent by their Churches to give a week of their lives to pour into the students.
9. A STOAL aircraft will (God willing) be used to deliver encouragement, training materials, aid, and missionaries to remote regions of the island. This will be one way to stay connected and support the front line soldiers.
